Ulticom History

Ulticom was founded in 1974 as Dale, Gesek, McWilliams, and Sheridan (DGM&S) to provide contract programming services to the communications industry. In the following decades, the company developed the world’s premier telecommunications signaling platform, Signalware. With over 6,000 deployments worldwide, Signalware is the premier platform for Telecom Equipment Manufacturers (TEM) and Communications Service Providers (CSP) to deploy SS7 and SIGTRAN-based applications and services within wireless, IP, and wireline networks. In 2010, Ulticom was acquired by Platinum Equity Partners.


In 2010, Ulticom expanded the company’s offerings to include Diameter, enabling the development and deployment of new applications and services for next generation communications environments.

 

Utilizing Ulticom solutions, Telecom Equipment Manufacturers (TEM) , Communication Service Providers (CSP), and Systems Integrators (SI) are evolving networks to optimize information and application delivery with increased efficiency and security.
