Ulticom’s Business Relationship Management (BRM) Program is part of a major
initiative focusing on continuously improving customer-facing services and processes.
It is designed as a means to focus the organization on how Ulticom "delivers
products" and "conducts business." The program concentrates on developing
business-to-business strategies for accelerating our customers' success while providing
an exceptional customer experience.
Traditionally, when we think of value, we instinctively think of product quality,
reliability, and capability. However, Ulticom expects to distinguish itself by tapping
into another component of our value chain: product delivery and our business infrastructure.
Ulticom recognizes that our customers have different use patterns for our products
as well as unique business requirements. The BRM program is intended to provide
an adaptive delivery methodology and supporting processes to fit in with customers'
business models. Our objective is to create value for customers through innovative
programs to enable supply chain synergy.
We view customer feedback as the driving force behind the development of an adaptive
business model. Many companies fail because they become corporate efficiency experts.
They focus on cost savings and cycle time reductions - often at the expense of their
customers. Rather than developing our business model programs from the inside out,
Ulticom's BRM model works from the outside in. We prioritize our programs by engaging
our customers and prospects as contributors to the process.
Customer feedback and participation have already influenced our Relationship Management
Road Map. Ulticom has developed and launched my.ulticom.com, a customer web portal, which provides an integrated
data environment designed to be an interactive source of communication, training,
documentation, licensing, product support, and product delivery. It is a single
point for customers to access all of these key services.
